Compounding pharmacists make prescriptions for humans and animals. We have a doctor-patient-pharmacist relationship. We give doctors and veterinarians the tools they need to get the medication into the patient. We have over 60 flavors, various sweeteners and patience in filling a prescription in order to make bitter drugs more palatable for the patient. We are always available for consultation with patients and doctors on medication options, dosage and administration problems.
Our company was founded by a pharmacist who had 35 years of compounding experience. We have been compounding at our Center for the last 23 years. Let our experience and educated staff put our skills to work for you.

Mr. Gerald DeFresne, RPH, founder of Creative Compounding Center, passed away on April 26, 2008. He graduated from Wayne State University in 1966. His pharmacist career began at Cunningham Drugs in Detroit. He worked at independent pharmacies and pharmacies he had purchased between 1980 and 1999. Loving compounding, he and his wife Cheryl opened Creative Compounding Center in Lapeer, Michigan in 1999. They moved their business to Imlay City in 2004 and built a state of the art compounding lab when they outgrew their building in Lapeer.
